I started this book hoping it would not let me down. And by God, it did not let me down. I had a high expectation that this would be equally as good as the first 3 books. Katy Evans’ did not disappoint me. I love her work. I love the way she writes and I love the way she tells a story. I’m there, in the moment with every single character.

Rogue is the book in which we finally get Melanie's story. The loyal best friend of Brooke and someone who I've always enjoyed reading about as a secondary character. This book picks up right before Brooke and Remy's wedding and carries on past it. If you've read Remy, you are probably wondering about who this Greyson is that Melanie is dating, and let me tell you.. he's a mystery and amazing all at once.

Melanie has always been the dreamer, she wants the HEA that her best friend got, but she's landed herself into some trouble. A bet made that she needs to pay off before something awful happens. Everything in her life seems to be going horrible until a mystery man enters and saves her and her car from the rain. One passionate night and Melanie is feeling something she's never felt before for Greyson (her mystery man). What happens next for her and Greyson is one amazing ride.

Greyson knows he shouldn't get close to her, he's supposed to collect a debt, but there is something about Melanie ("Princess") that he just can't ignore. A deal with the devil (aka his father) brings him back into the life he doesn't want to be in, and part of the deal is to collect 48 debts needing to be paid to The Underground. These debts put him and Melanie on the same path, but he doesn't realize how far he's gone off the path to be with her until it's too late.

The chemistry between these two is off the charts, as well as the angst. I wanted to yell at Melanie for not taking her own advice that she's provided Brooke with multiple times before, and for not opening up to Greyson about why she was selling her car. Greyson, by many, could be seen as the bad guy, and he is, but at the same time, he's the perfect guy. He works on trying to figure out how to save Melanie as well as his mother. He may not do great things, but you can tell it torments him, and he hates it. He just wants out of the business he was drug back into, and wants to have the person who was taken away from him all those years ago. My heart really went out for Greyson's character. He may have a dark side, but his good side outshines it over and over again in this book.

This book is full of suspense, hotness, and pure romance. I loved reading Melanie's story and wishing and hoping she would get the HEA she's been wanting for so long. Getting to know her backstory as well as Greyson's really allowed me to get to know them even more, and understand the things they do. I fell in love with their story (even with all the angst) but at times, I felt that the chapters would focus a little too much on the sex, and not the story behind these two. I really did enjoy this book and loved how it ended. I am definitely going to be diving into Pan's book next and hope she gets the HEA she deserves!

Having swerved Remy as a possible POV too far, I started Rogue with trepidation. Would this book be able to match up to its amazing predessors, Real and Mine? The answer is a resounding yes!!!!

I even want to have his babies, well that that's after I've had 24/7 one on one time with him for at least 6 months!!! My ovaries are singing his song.

This is the story of Brooke's friend, Melanie. Having found herself in debt to The Underground, Melanie is struggling to raise the funds to pay her debt. Unbeknownst to her, Greyson has her in his sights, not only romantically but also as his mark.

Greyson has been attracted to Melanie from the first time he saw her across the ring, jumping up and down screaming support for Remy. Knowing the dangers for him to become involved with her though he avoids her but continues to watch her from afar. It is only after his father, who is dying, places one last wish on Greyson that he is forced to become acquainted with Melanie but unable to do his father's bidding, he tries to help her without her knowledge.

When Greyson and Melanie finally get together though, sparks literally fly. Greyson is an alpha in the truest sense of the word. The man is sex personified. It oozes from his pores and Melanie is helpless to resist his charms.

Melanie repeatedly asks herself "is this just sex?" but feeling something more, she reluctantly allows her heart to warm to the idea of a relationship with Greyson. Greyson warns Melanie that he's dangerous but as all women know, danger has its charms and Greyson has them in abundance.

As Greyson's mark list gets shorter though so does his time with Melanie but can he find a way to help her to pay off her debts before it's too late? Also to have any chance of a future with Melanie, Greyson knows that he will have to come clean with her but can she love a cold hearted killer?

As always with Katy Evans, this book is perfectly balanced and well written. I was sucked into the story from the first page and it didn't lose momentum throughout.

I'm off to read Ripped and Pandora's story. Catch you on the flip side!!!!
